Students were assigned a laptop to be used in science class today. They each enrolled in my online course on Moodle. They learned how to access my daily class blog, the news article template and the class syllabus. For our lesson, students went to www.spotthedifference.com to sharpen their observation skills. We researched the differences between a theory and a law and posted those differences in a discussion forum.
No homework was assigned, and the Metric Quiz will be on Friday, September 9th.

Day 1
Students were given a sample news article and template. I discussed the requirements and expectations for this weekly assignment and we summarized the practice article together.
