Day 127

Students turned in their 26th week of science news articles.  They then took their quiz on Ohm's law and did predictably well.

No homework was assigned, and the Chapter 8 test will be on Wednesday, April 2nd.

Friday, March 14, 2014

Day 126

Students were given the formula today to calculate electrical power using voltage and current.  That formula, along with Ohm's law, will be the basis for their assessment on Monday.  To prepare for that quiz, we completed problems 1-5 on page 8-2 together in class.  Students were then assigned worksheets 8-3, 8-9 and 8-10 in their groups.  The solutions to each page were revealed before the end of the period.
